How Can I Know I Am Going To Heaven??

1. God loves me.
John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world..."

2. I am separated from God because I am a sinner
Isaiah 59:2 - "Your iniquities have separated you from God; your sins have hidden His face from you..."
Isaiah 64:6 - "All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags."
Romans 3:23 - "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

3. This separation because of sin leads to death and certain judgment.
Hebrews 9:7 - "Man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment."
II Thessalonians 1:8-9 - "He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.
They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and the majestyof
His power on the day He comes."
Romans 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death..."

4. Is there a solution for me?
Romans 5:8 - "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
1 Timothy 2:5-6 - "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who
gave Himself as a ransom for all..."
1 Peter 3:18 - "For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God."

5. If God so loved the world that He sent Jesus, what do I have to do?
Romans 10:9-10, 13 - "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in yor heart that God
raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with the heart that you believe and are justified, and it is
with your mouth that you confess and are saved...Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
Ephesians 2:8-9 - "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, - and this is not from yourselves, it is
a gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast."
John 1:12 - "Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God."
1 John 1:9 - "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."

6. Everyone must decide individually whether to receive Christ.
Revelation 3:20 - (Jesus says) "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me."

7. How do I receive Christ?
Through sincere prayer - one like this:
"Dear God,
I know I have sinned and I believe Jesus died on the cross for me. I believe He came back to life again.
Please forgive my sins and come into my life right now. I want to be your child. Please help me to live
for you each day.
In Jesus' name, AMEN."
