Praise the Lord for the ways He has brought us together in the recent weeks. Through a great deal of prayer and care our church leaders worked out a lot of details to make it possible for us to meet indoors and online in multiple spaces as we honored one another, as well as the directives of the Maine CDC.
This week, due to the rise in state-wide COVID-19 cases, Governer Mills has announced new guidelines for Mainers to follow when it comes to public spaces. In general, the executive order (State of Maine Executive Order November 4, 2020), requires face coverings to be worn in public spaces. Houses of worship are among the listing of public spaces that this order applies.
In an effort to honor our governing officials, starting this Sunday, November 8th, we request that you join us in lovingly complying with this Executive Order. Please wear a cloth face-covering while in the building, as well as parking lot, of the meeting house of the First Baptist Church. (If you should forget a face covering or don't have one, we have some individually packaged ones that we would be happy to give you when you arrive.)
We will continue to have seating in the Fellowship Hall and the Sanctuary. As well as to offer online opportunities on Facebook and Youtube as the internet and other technologies allow.
May we find joy as we have a wonderful opportunity to shine the light of Christ and to be a testimony to our neighbors. Praise the Lord we can continue to gather and rejoice in our risen Savior - what a blessing to be with one another! May we offer love and grace to one another as we seek to honor the Lord in all that we do and say.
Keep seeking Jesus!

As always it is helpful to let us know you are coming
as we are limited in the amount of people
we are able to accommodate on a Sunday Morning.
We intend to send an email with a link
each Wednesday via email with an RSVP link
and it is helpful if we can fill that our ahead of time.
