Tyler Walden
Tyler grew up in a Navy family living in several states along the East Coast before attending college at the University of Florida. Although he had participated in church throughout his childhood, it was not until he attended a Navigator Bible study and read Luke 9:23 that he came to saving faith. In the Summer of 2012, Tyler graduated college, commissioned as an Ensign in the Navy, married his much better half Susanna, and moved to San Diego, CA, to serve aboard a Cruiser. After his time at sea, he began studies at Moody Theological Seminary, earning a Master of Divinity in 2021. While stationed in Vermont, Tyler completed a pastoral internship and served as an elder at Cornerstone Church in Bethel, VT. After completing ten years of Naval service, Tyler accepted the call to serve as the Pastor of FBC Bar Harbor in the Spring of 2022. He and Susanna have four children (Marianna, Lily, Zeke, and Winnie).
